Use of SmileCommand

SmileCommand is cloud-based practice-management software for authorised private healthcare practices and their staff. Users must keep their credentials secure, use the service only for legitimate professional purposes and follow applicable privacy, clinical-record, professional and regulatory requirements.

Practice responsibility

Each practice remains responsible for clinical decisions, the accuracy and lawful use of its records, staff permissions, patient communications and compliance with its professional and regulatory duties. SmileCommand assists administration and workflow; it does not provide clinical advice or replace professional judgement.

Connected services

Optional services such as Google Calendar, payment providers and communications platforms are governed by their own terms. Users authorise SmileCommand to exchange the minimum information required for the enabled integration. Availability of a connected service may depend on its provider.

Availability and security

We take reasonable measures to keep the service secure and available, maintain backups and prevent unauthorised access. Planned maintenance, emergency work or third-party outages may occasionally interrupt the service. Users must promptly report suspected account compromise or incorrect access.

Acceptable use

Users must not attempt to bypass security, access another practice's information, introduce malicious code, interfere with the service or use SmileCommand unlawfully. Access may be suspended where necessary to protect patients, practices, the platform or other users.
